Bath University has three academic faculties and two schools that offer academic programmes and courses for undergraduates and postgraduate students.

Faculty of Engineering and Design

The Faculty of Engineering and Design continues to be at the forefront of development and architectural progress. The Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Mechanical Engineering are two Faculty of Engineering programs that were awarded 'Excellent' status. They are also considered university centers of learning.

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is comprised of five academic departments: Education, European Studies and Modern Languages, Economics and International Development, Psychology, and Social and Policy Sciences.

Faculty of Sciences

The Faculty of Sciences is one of the leaders in biotechnology and molecular biology research. It is comprised of the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, Pharmacy and Pharmacology, and Physics. The faculty also develops the Natural Sciences Programme.

Bath University Schools: School of Management

The School of Management program is considered one of the best business programs in Europe.

Bath University Schools: School of Health

The School of Health prepares the students for a career in sports medicine, physical therapy, or social work, among others.
